Before you attend ALJBS, you’ll need to attend a County Orientation session, where you’ll learn about the program, what to pack, what to expect, what you can do, and how to get there. Orientations are held at centrally-located places in each NJ county during May and June and usually run about an hour and a half. You must attend the orientation for the county that you live in.
A full list of orientations is below. If you don’t see your county, they probably haven’t scheduled one yet; keep checking this page for details.
Virtual orientation sessions are open to all Post-sponsored and self-sponsored delegates (and their parents) whether or not they have already attended an in-person orientation. All self-sponsored delegates are expected to attend one virtual orientation prior to the session.
If you have any additional questions, you can contact the County Boys State Chairmen directly using the County Boys State Chairmen Contact List.
