Dear Institution Leadership,

American Legion Jersey Boys State (ALJBS) is seeking a new long-term host institution beginning with our 2027 session, and we believe your campus may be an excellent fit.

For over 80 years, ALJBS has delivered a rigorous, college-level civic leadership program to nearly 1,000 rising high school seniors annually, making it the premier program of its kind in New Jersey. Our alumni include Senator Cory Booker, Former Governor Chris Christie, and Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito. Participants earn up to three hours of transferable college credit, supported by a designated political science faculty member.

For the right institution, hosting ALJBS is a compelling opportunity: a week of direct, sustained engagement with hundreds of highly motivated students and their families at the start of their college search. We are looking for a partner that can provide air-conditioned housing and dining for approximately 1,200 participants and staff, large lecture and assembly spaces, indoor and outdoor recreation facilities, and A/V and IT support for the week of June 19–25, 2027.
